Owlbear Room Instructions

Players can join by room invite link. They only need an Owlbear account if they want to upload or use their own images.

GM setup

Create or open your Owlbear Rodeo room.
Prepare a simple scene for the sample encounter.
Use the Invite Players action or copy the room URL.
Share the room link in Discord.
Admit players when they request to join.
Import or place PC tokens, monster tokens, and encounter references after the AMBA/WG export step.

Player join steps

Open the Owlbear room link from the GM.
Enter the waiting room and request to join.
Wait for the GM to admit you.
Use the scene only as directed during the workflow test.
Create a free Owlbear account only if you need to bring your own uploaded token image.

Room link works for all players GM can admit everyone PC tokens appear or can be placed Monster tokens import or can be staged Monster stat blocks from WG are usable alongside the scene Player permissions feel right for movement and interaction

Account expectation

For this test, players should not need Owlbear accounts unless they want to upload their own image assets. The GM account owns the room, invites players by link, and admits join requests.
